A long-standing exterior restoration contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing facade restoration projects across New York City. Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior project staff to coordinate all phases of exterior restoration work. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, field support, and compliance-related tasks. The role also involves helping maintain project records and facilitating communication among site teams, clients, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of facade restoration projects from start to finish

  • Assist with subcontractor scheduling, site coordination, and resource management

  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, logs, and daily reports

  • Help support adherence to New York City building codes and facade compliance requirements

  • Participate in site walkthroughs, inspections, and progress reporting

  • Serve as a communication link between field teams and project stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, facade restoration, or building envelope work

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of New York City building codes and facade compliance processes is a plus

  • Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work daily on active job sites in Manhattan and attend the Queens office when required
