Position Title: Assistant Auditor – Technical

Position Overview:
We are looking for a technically skilled Assistant Auditor to join a leading manufacturing organisation. The role focuses on conducting detailed internal audits of production and operational processes, evaluating plant performance, and supporting optimisation of cost, efficiency, and resource utilisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical internal audits across manufacturing and production operations

Benchmark raw material, energy, and resource consumption and identify areas for efficiency improvements

Evaluate plant performance, including capacity, production output, energy efficiency, and equipment utilisation

Review cost control measures in production, maintenance, and operations, including planned shutdowns/turnarounds

Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow-up plans

Collaborate with management to implement audit findings and drive operational improvements
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Metallurgy) or a related technical discipline

Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical/internal audits in manufacturing, preferably steel industry

Strong knowledge of plant operations, resource management, and performance evaluation

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
Recommended Certifications:

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Certified Automation Professional (CAP)

Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
