Job Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a major global operator in the Middle East as an Asset Integrity Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of assets across their entire lifecycle — from design through to decommissioning — across a diverse portfolio of facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to operating sites on asset integrity across all lifecycle phases.

  • Lead engineering studies to enhance facility performance and ensure safe, reliable operations.

  • Define asset integrity and process safety objectives, and contribute to the development of internal standards.

  • Drive the development and execution of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS).

  • Oversee long-term strategies for AIMS across diverse facilities (e.g., refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, LNG terminals, pipelines).

  • Benchmark practices against global standards (ASME, API) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement assurance frameworks to verify the effectiveness of technical integrity safeguards.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical preferred); Master's degree advantageous.

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in asset integrity engineering within the oil & gas industry.

  • Strong working knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant international standards.

  • Certified Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) license holder.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Fitness-for-Service (FFS), asset life extension, and decommissioning.

  • Proficiency with Asset Performance Management (APM) tools and digital systems.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead within multi-disciplinary teams.
