Job Title: Assembly and Test Supervisor – Manufacturing / Subsea

Location: Manufacturing
Shift: Must be open to working night shifts as required

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Assembly and Test Supervisor to join a forward-thinking team in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. This position plays a key leadership role in coordinating production schedules, managing teams, and ensuring the quality and safety of the assembly and testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the assembly and test team to deliver high-quality output on schedule

  • Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring workflow optimisation and deadline compliance

  • Monitor production output and quality metrics to ensure products meet specification

  • Train new team members on best practices in assembly techniques, safety, and company standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during assembly and testing processes

  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality departments to ensure production continuity

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles, including Kaizen activities

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in the assembly and test areas

  • Set employee objectives, deliver training, and manage performance, including rewards and disciplinary actions

  • Drive team alignment with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics using lean methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)

  • 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly supervisory role, ideally with subsea product exposure

  • Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement strategies

  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health standards

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams

  • Willingness to work night shifts as part of operational coverage
