Join a cutting-edge industrial venture at the heart of Europe's green manufacturing revolution. We’re supporting a major infrastructure project and seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a key area from engineering through to handover. This is a high-impact role where you'll oversee delivery across disciplines and ensure that milestones are met – all while shaping a global-standard execution model.
You’ll be working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, both internal and external, driving progress across procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead internal and external teams to set and achieve project priorities and targets

Implement and manage governance frameworks for your area of the project

Coordinate effectively across functions to allocate resources and clarify responsibilities

Drive project execution from scope definition to operational handover

Own delivery across scope, schedule, and budget with a clear focus on milestones

Manage change processes and control the critical path to meet key deadlines

Monitor budget performance and continuously seek optimisation and leaner technical solutions

Develop a cross-functional, high-performing project delivery team
About You:

At least 15 years’ experience in industrial project environments, including 10+ years in leadership roles (e.g. steel, oil & gas, semiconductors, automotive, battery or similar)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects through full lifecycle

Experience in owner-side project teams is advantageous

Strong communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English

Comfortable working in diverse, multi-cultural environments
