Job Title: Analyst, Business Development

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Overview

A leading energy and industrial operator is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support market research, feasibility studies, and investment initiatives within the KSA market. The role focuses on gathering, analysing, and presenting market intelligence to facilitate informed decision-making. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify business opportunities, support project proposals, and contribute to strategic development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and maintain a comprehensive database of market intelligence, competitor analysis, and emerging trends to support business development decisions.
  • Monitor regulations, policies, and industry developments that may impact investment opportunities.
  • Identify relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions, and provide recommendations for participation to establish networks and business relationships.
  • Conduct initial research on potential investment initiatives and support the preparation of financial models under guidance from the Business Development Manager.
  • Prepare project presentations and proposals for senior management to facilitate negotiations with potential partners.
  • Maintain effective business relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop reports and insights aligned with departmental strategy and guidelines for presentation to management.
  • Prepare materials for meetings and presentations, ensuring information is accurate, relevant, and timely.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implementation of tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, HSE regulations, and sustainability guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in operations or project support within oil and gas or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple teams and levels.
