Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management & Governance:

Manage assigned joint ventures, ensuring alignment with corporate investment strategies.

Represent the organisation in Board, Shareholder, and Steering Committee meetings.

Ensure JV strategy, performance, and governance align with broader shareholder objectives.
Financial Management & Performance:

Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and business case evaluations.

Monitor capital investments, financial results, and performance benchmarks.

Identify areas for optimisation and value capture across the portfolio.
Joint Venture Structuring & Transactions:

Evaluate JV growth and M&A opportunities in line with the downstream strategy.

Oversee deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, and partner negotiations.

Draft and negotiate commercial terms for Shareholder, Offtake, and Service Agreements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:

Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Mentor junior team members, contributing to talent development and succession planning.

Support knowledge sharing, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years' experience in the downstream oil & gas sector, with 5+ years in JV management, commercial strategy, or M&A.

Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and commercial structuring.

Proven ability to lead negotiations and influence senior stakeholders.

Deep knowledge of shareholder agreements and governance frameworks.

Track record of mentoring junior staff and fostering high-performance teams.
