Job Title: Administrative Support – Engineering (Part-Time)
Location: Olen, Belgium
Assignment Type: Contract until 31st December 2025 (with potential for extension)
Work Schedule: Part-Time (50% FTE)

A key industrial player in the field of materials production and recycling is looking for an Administrative Support professional to assist its Reliability Engineering team on a part-time basis in Olen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and technical coordination experience to contribute to an innovative, sustainability-focused environment.

About the Role:

You'll be working within a production setting where nickel and cobalt-based materials are processed for use in everyday items like rechargeable batteries, tools, and coatings. As part of the Reliability Engineering team, you'll take ownership of various administrative and support tasks, ranging from maintaining SAP PM data to assisting in small improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to Reliability Engineers

  • Create, update, and launch preventive maintenance plans in SAP PM

  • Maintain lubrication management records (understanding lubrication techniques is a plus)

  • Modify and manage asset structures within SAP PM

  • Source technical data from SAP, manufacturer manuals, and internal documentation systems

  • Collect equipment information in the field and update SAP records accordingly

  • Generate inspection checklists for preventive tasks

  • Communicate with suppliers for technical details and price quotes

  • Follow up on improvement actions initiated by the Reliability Engineering team

  • Support transition from custom lubrication software to an improved system

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience
    OR
    Technical secondary education with 5–6 years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) experience is essential

  • Understanding of maintenance concepts and industrial lubrication is advantageous

  • Experience working in a production or engineering environment

Soft Skills:

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and structured

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to interact with field technicians and suppliers effectively

  • Naturally proactive with a hands-on approach to solving tasks

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)

  • Able to read and understand technical English documentation
