Job Description
The (Acting) Director, Regional REFM, will manage the full spectrum of Real Estate & Facility Management (REFM) services for the Nordic operations of the client. The role focuses on portfolio optimisation, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and overseeing ongoing change initiatives and projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the Nordic real estate portfolio to improve utilisation, reduce footprint, and enhance sustainability performance

Align business demand with available assets and manage the sale of non-essential properties

Oversee facility services delivery in the Nordic region through established supplier contracts, ensuring commercial and qualitative performance

Serve as the escalation point for internal and external tenants, landlords, and service providers

Manage demand/supply for internal RE&FM customers with a focus on standards and cost-efficiency

Lead organisational change initiatives within RE&FM, including stabilising teams and processes

Support transition and stabilization of new FM supplier contracts throughout 2026

Provide senior oversight and steering for multiple ongoing construction projects

Engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders including business representatives, site managers, and employees

Liaise with external stakeholders including landlords, tenants, authorities, and service providers (security, catering, telecom, consultants, etc.)
Required Qualifications and Experience

Broad experience in RE portfolio management, FM demand and supply management, and modern workplace concepts

Proven track record in leading organisational change and driving operational efficiency

Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with various supplier contract models

Experience in leading teams, including managing leaders

Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and oral

Demonstrated leadership capabilities including accountability, trust-building, and proactive communication

Business acumen with strong understanding of RE&FM operations and stakeholders

Commercially adept with strong negotiation and results-focused approach

People-oriented with experience in developing teams and individuals

Strong analytical and intellectual leadership skills
