Job Overview
A leading international engineering and technology organisation is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to support business growth within the Oil and Gas sector. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on developing key accounts, winning new business, and strengthening long-term partnerships with major operators and joint ventures.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and experience working with major operators and stakeholders in Angola.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing key customers

  • Build a strong understanding of customer operations, challenges, and strategic priorities

  • Position relevant products and services to support customer objectives and operational performance

  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans to drive growth, loyalty, and long-term engagement

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders across client organisations

  • Increase market presence by positioning solutions on major projects and strategic opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and marketing teams to ensure effective solution delivery and customer support

  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to support business strategy

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update pipeline activity within internal business systems

  • Support quarterly and annual business planning and performance reviews

  • Promote a strong customer-focused culture, with a commitment to safety, ethics, and operational excellence

  • Develop relationships with international operators, national oil companies, independent operators, and relevant regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline (MBA is advantageous)

  • Significant experience in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably within the Angolan market

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development

  • Experience managing strategic or key accounts and delivering measurable growth

  • Strong experience engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Demonstrated consultative sales approach

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking

Desirable Experience

  • Background in process automation, industrial technology, or engineering solutions

  • Experience working within a matrix or multinational organisation

  • Experience supporting business growth in emerging markets

  • Previous engagement with international operators, national oil companies, or joint venture environments
