We are supporting a global engineering organisation in the search for an experienced 3D Engineer to take ownership of CAD modelling responsibilities within gas turbine projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and managing complex 3D layouts for global customers.
Role Overview:
As a 3D Engineer / Model Responsible, you will manage the complete 3D CAD model within customer-specific gas turbine order projects. Your work will involve creating layout designs, leading internal and external model reviews, and coordinating with project teams and suppliers. Success in this role requires flexibility, ownership, and a good understanding of project interfaces and stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead 3D CAD modelling and layout design efforts for customer-specific projects

Create, update, and manage installation and layout drawings using NX or equivalent CAD software

Present 3D model reviews internally and externally, including to customers

Prepare technical documentation, purchasing specifications, and design updates

Collaborate with project managers, system engineers, installation teams, procurement, and subcontractors

Support procurement during vendor selection and assist assembly and commissioning teams
Required Skills and Experience:

MSc or BSc in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Proficiency in CAD tools such as NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo/Pro Engineer; PDMS experience is an advantage

Strong communication skills with the ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams

Structured, organised, and proactive approach to work planning

Enthusiastic about digital tools and technical problem-solving

Fluency in English (spoken and written); Swedish is an advantage

Experience in Oil & Gas or Heat Pump sectors is desirable
