About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Subsea CSR to support a major offshore subsea cable lay project. The role involves oversight and coordination of all construction, transport and installation (T&I) activities related to subsea cable installation from offshore platforms to landfall, including supervision of construction teams and interface management.
This is a key role within a high-profile energy infrastructure programme, supporting the safe, timely and technically robust execution of subsea works during both FEED and EPC phases.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of the subsea cable lay scope, including interfaces from offshore platforms to landfall and branch units.

Interface with project subsea specialists and package leads, ensuring clarity at battery limits and within topsides integration.

Coordinate with internal engineering and construction teams across FEED and EPC phases.

Provide technical leadership and specialist input across subsea scopes including design, execution, and installation.

Supervise offshore construction and ensure alignment with HSE, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.

Lead preparation and delivery of T&I input to SIMOPS dossiers and support operational readiness.

Review and ensure constructibility of contractor designs to meet project and operational standards.

Represent the project team in audits, internal reviews, and technical progress sessions.

Support timely delivery of technical documentation, including CFT and execution contractor deliverables.

Deputise for the Package Manager when required and liaise regularly with project leadership.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.

Minimum 20 years of experience in engineering, interface, or project management, with at least 10 years in subsea construction roles.

Demonstrated offshore project experience including installation of flowlines, risers, jackets, decks, bridges, and subsea cables.

Previous involvement in yard-based construction phases is advantageous.

Minimum 5 years working in large multinational project teams.

Familiar with international specifications and procedures, including Total general specifications and industry standards.

Fluent in English; strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certifications required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Must be able to travel internationally for technical missions.

Strong awareness of contractual frameworks and operational practices in complex offshore environments.
