ROLE: Rigging and Lifting Supervisor

We are looking for a Rigging and Lifting Supervisor to join our team for ongoing projects based in The Netherlands.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Safety: Ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations, and developing and implementing safe work procedures
Coordination: Working with engineering, construction, and safety teams
Supervision: Managing and supervising rigging and lifting crews
Inspection: Conducting regular safety inspections
Training: Providing safety training
Review: Reviewing lifting plans, equipment, and lifting devices
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with project schedules, safety, quality, and technical standards
Leadership: Providing front line safety and technical leadership
Communication: Communicating with several organizational levels
Meetings: Facilitating periodic meetings with contractors and the Site Team
Ad-hoc requests: Dealing with ad-hoc requests related to project logistics and operations
CLIENT KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
The worker must be committed to the BSP (Basic Safety Process) culture and deliverables as required by the project and daily supervisor reporting where required. Including safety audits, tool box talks, reporting and positive engagement in the field as part of supervisory duties.
The worker must comply to the Client Learnex training requirements for the duration of the assignment. Training requirements will form part of a minimum mandatory onboarding duration of one week in relevant client head office. Learnex online training will be completed as part of onboarding then on a regular update and renewal basis as required for the specific role profile. It is up to the individual to maintain keep their own training records up to date.
As part of field supervisory duties, it is expected that the individual will work in close collaboration with the project quality department and ensure intimate understanding of relevant discipline quality and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's). Implementation of ITP's and monitoring contractor quality performance is a key responsibility of construction field supervision.
Furthermore, each individual construction supervisor will be expected to issue a daily report related to their discipline and including observations and metrics on safety, quality, contractor resources, equipment, contractor performance including any impact to schedule or cost. Report template to be provided my project.
Consistent failure to perform on any of above KPI's and any general contract requirements may result in disciplinary action.
