Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Leatherhead, UK
Duration: 9 Months
Rate: £52 per hour (Outside scope of IR35)
Work Style: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remotely
A client of ours are currently looking to hire a Quality Engineer to work on a major international offshore gas compression development.This project is a flagship expansion phase of a large-scale energy project located in the Caspian region. The project involves the design and delivery of a new offshore compression platform supporting one of the world's most significant natural gas fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide QA oversight and input to pre- and post-award procurement activities.
- Support bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and kick-off meetings (KOMs).
- Conduct and support supplier audits, ensuring alignment with project and company QA standards.
- Review and verify supplier quality documentation and plans.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, and quality teams in both the UK and overseas offices.
- Support the Project Quality Manager in reporting and quality performance tracking.
