To independently define key concepts and deliverables, oversee, plan, manage, and control engineering deliverables for assigned projects effectively according to technical requirements, timelines, and budget. Manage resources and resolve project-related issues, while providing guidance to the assigned team.
Responsibilities:

Understands the specific specifications and requirements of assigned projects, including industry standards, regulatory requirements, and classification society guidelines.

Plans and oversees process simulation software operations, design calculations, simulation studies, and reviews of datasheets prepared by team engineers. Where necessary, prepares and conducts simulation studies.

Guides engineers and senior engineers in developing engineering specifications (e.g., drawings, data sheets), reviewing and validating them with project managers and clients before inclusion in RFQs.

Independently evaluates bids for process and utility packages, performing technical bid evaluations, ensuring vendors meet technical and delivery requirements, and providing assessments to the buyer for further tender and negotiation processes.

Reviews draft drawings and documents from team members to ensure the timely delivery of accurate specifications to vendors.

Independently develops solutions to technical and engineering challenges by analyzing issues, interpreting data, and evaluating options based on experience, precedents, and professional references. Takes proactive measures to anticipate and overcome potential problems.

Visits suppliers to review test results of process equipment and ensure compliance with project specifications. Where necessary, works with suppliers and contractors to rectify deficiencies to ensure timely readiness.

Participates in meetings, reviews project progress, addresses interface and execution issues, and escalates concerns to ensure smooth project operations.

Organizes resources and schedules to meet project timelines and objectives.

Provides technical and engineering support to construction and commissioning teams at the site, troubleshoots issues, and follows up with stakeholders to resolve gaps or problems. Offers off-site support when necessary.
Requirements:

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in process engineering within the oil and gas sector for degree holders, or 11 years for Master's degree holders. Direct experience in FPSO/FSO projects is required.

Familiarity with applicable industry standards, company standards, and procedures in relevant functional areas.
