Job Description:
The Interface Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating the interfaces between various internal and external stakeholders in the CO2 Sequestration project. The Interface Lead will manage the FEED/EPC project interface requirements and ensure all technical interfaces are addressed and closed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Interface Management: Manage all technical interfaces, ensuring comprehensive, multi-functional reviews that meet project objectives, requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Process Improvement: Assess the overall performance of the Interface Agreements (IA) process and implement necessary improvements. Ensure that the IA process is well-established and maintained, and that it is accepted by the contractor.
- Interface Planning and Coordination: Plan and organize interface works based on identified priorities. Ensure clear and consistent communication with all parties involved, both internal and external.
- Work Pack Coordination: Coordinate inputs from contractor, engineering, and construction teams to receive timely approvals of technical work packs.
- Approval and Expediting: Ensure the timely evaluation, coordination, and approval of technical work packs and interface agreements.
- Communication: Promote effective and consistent communication with internal organizations regarding interface information and documentation.
- PMCS Interface Management: Implement and maintain the PMCS Interface Management Module for coordinating contractor-related works and activities.
- Support Interface Plan Approval: Review, coordinate comments, and support the approval of the Interface Management Plan. Organize workshops for mutual understanding between all parties.
- Meeting Participation and Documentation: Attend weekly and monthly interface meetings, ensuring that minutes are issued and actions are closed. Update the Interfaces Registers and Databases.
- Reporting and Issue Identification: Identify and report unresolved interface issues to management. Generate weekly and monthly reports and provide input for management reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of interface management experience in large-scale oil and gas projects, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
- Experience with oil and gas companies, contractors, or service companies.
- Experience developing Interface Management Plans, interface management processes, and creating project interface registers and reporting systems.
- Proficiency in interface management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience in complex interface coordination during project FEED and EPCI contract phases.
