Position Title: Advisor, Procurement and Contracts
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Key Objectives:
- Lead and advise on SAP system implementation for procurement, including sourcing, contract management, and procure-to-pay functions.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for procurement processes and system enhancements.
- Support the procurement team in evaluating suppliers and systems during tendering.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Oversee the implementation and training of new procurement systems.
- Ensure ethical and fair procurement practices, maintaining confidentiality.
- Propose and execute system improvements for seamless procurement operations.
Key Authorities:
- Supervise the implementation of procurement systems and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective system delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements during system acquisitions.
Procurement Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP system applications related to procurement.
- Coordinate system enhancements and user training for new processes.
- Support pre- and post-award procurement activities across various departments.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, for system approvals and reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in oil and gas.
- Proficient in SAP and procurement systems.
- Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent English communication skills.
