JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Accounting Professional for our Record to Report (R2R) team within the client Finance Business Support.

R2R is the central function for accounting expertise within the Client Group, with a strong focus on quality and compliance. The team is responsible for general ledger accounting, statutory reporting (IFRS and local GAAP), financial reporting and external audits. We continuously develop and optimise our processes. Financial accounting is evolving-and so are we. Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for general ledger activities in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards, following IFRS and statutory accounting rules
  • You act as a trusted accounting expert and collaborate closely with internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including our business process outsourcing partner
  • You manage month-end and year-end closings and ensure deadlines are met
  • You prepare financial statements and annual reports for legal entities, and handle the entire reporting process and external audit process
  • You maintain a high standard of service quality, accuracy, and compliance in all accounting activities
  • You participate in improvement initiatives together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects

Required qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent education, with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation
  • 3-5 years of experience in general accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organisation or corporate group
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner, with strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of the entire financial process, especially closing and reporting
  • Experience working with SAP and MS Office products
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English

Language requirements:

  • Swedish and English. Swedish will be used mostly, but English is required for reviewing reading materials and for creating your own documentation and presentation materials (i.e. reading and writing in English).
